Hi there...this is my first attempt at creating fonts= D!!! I've always wanted to create fonts...so fun...NOT. But anyways, I took about 2 days to complete this...it's actually the fonts I invented for my typo class back in year 1 or 2...can't rmb already...but if you were watching me way back then, you will know what I mean:[link]
And so I neglected doing my audio journal which is due soon...and I didn't ink a single thing for the next contest entry...shits.
Oh yea...anyone who have tried creating fonts before, do give me some tips,ya?

Alpha is the term used for Letters, like a font, typically in individual PNGs. An Alpha is often made from a font, and then embellished with layer masks, actions, whatever. Used a ton in digital scrap and altered art. First of call, can be 8000 colors if you want it to be, so that's good. If you search for alpha, digital, scrap, you'll see more alphas than you know what to do with! I'll often use a large letter from an alpha to begin a journal, then convert to a complimentary font...so you've got a complex large first letter, then simpler single color and often smaller text from that point.
Sheesh...that's funky definition by orachel. Hope you're not more confused than when you started! lol Basically its a font made into PNGs in multi colors and embellished.
I'm all excited as I just discovered a piece of freeware that allows you to trace stuff and use actual media look brushes...oil actually looks like oil streaks, etc. Not like PS...really do look painted. Called ArtRage, and theres freeware version, but whole shebang is only $25. I'm hoping that i can use that to "trace" existing fonts (commercial use ones, and will credit of course) and then embellish them. But will probably post em here as png alpha, and if anyone wants to convert to alpha, they can do so. That's within my next 10 projects or so.
Anyway, congrats on your first font...Its just amazing. While I may eventually develop some talent with digital media and photomanipulation and the like, and am good at collage and arrangement of images, I am NOT an artist...ie: can't doodle something into beauty starting with blank slate. So I'll never be able to create something quite as incredible as what you've managed here!
thanks for the font
I like this kind of fonts..
Okay, I'll try to download and use it later.
Thanks so much for helping me test it out^^
Testing! It looks pretty good to me.
You're welcome. =3 Oh, do you feel like OCing, Yure?
